The foundation of SH Binayak Multi-speciality Hospital is based on the visionary ideals of Mr. Karan Singh Binayak, a reputed name in the real estate domain. Along with him was Brig. Y. Mukerjee (retd.), and Mr. Vikram Singh Binayak together, they thought of giving the people of West Bengal a healthcare facility that could cater to their medical needs under one roof. The core team also consists of experts in the medical field such as Dr. Tanmoy Kr. Mondal (Medical Oncologist), Dr. Sukhamoy Barik (Consultant Gynecologist), Dr. Soumen Das (General Surgeon & ONCO Surgeon), Dr. Debjoy Sau (Gastroenterologist), Dr. P. N. Mahapatra (Medical Oncology) and Mr. Vikram Singh Binayak.

Binayak Healthworld was born as a two-phase integrated project that was later relaunched as SH Binayak Multi-speciality Hospital, with finer infrastructure and more facilities. It was the brainchild of Mr. Karan Singh Binayak, Mr. Vikram Singh Binayak, and Brig. Yadav Mukherjee S.M. (Retd.) who were also the founders and directors of the establishment.
